ABBEY ROAD ON THE RIVER FESTIVAL
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of witnessing two amazing performances by Drew Harrison and the Plastic Fauxno Band at Abbey Road at the Glow.
These evenings were truly unforgettable, filled with incredible music, high energy, and a display of exceptional talent. I can't emphasize enough how phenomenal Drew Harrison and his band were!
Drew proved himself to be not only a gifted musician but also a natural performer who knows how to captivate an audience. The Plastic Fauxno Band, consisting of eight talented members plus a world-class FOH soundman, showcased their remarkable synergy, blending their individual talents into a tight-knit rock and roll group.
Each band member brought their own unique style to the music, creating a chemistry that elevated the entire performance to a new level.
Drew's vocals were extraordinary, with a soulful and raw quality reminiscent of John Lennon. Whether belting out powerful rock anthems or singing ballads, his vocal range and control were top-line.
Encountering a band leader, singer, guitarist, and all-around great person like Drew Harrison is truly rare.
One standout moment among many was during the song "Mother." Drew was in deep as we know John was.
On night two, during Beautiful Boy, I lay on the grass, closed my eyes, and “imagined” and anticipated being with my grandsons, who I often play this song to, and who I am with now.
Bravo PFB.
Thank you Gary!
Drew
